I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a couple of days. I’ve been super busy with college and work. Everyone has probably already heard about Hurricane Harvey and how it had devastated millions of lives already. I live in East Texas, about two hours away from Houston; so, where I live, we are experiencing a bunch of rain and flooding in certain areas.
I actually have family that live in Houston and they have been stuck in the flood, they are okay right now, it’s still a terrible situation for anyone to go through.
Being a very devout Christian, times like this don’t cause my faith to waver; instead, I’m actually inspired by the love that so many people are so showing for Texas right now. I think it’s so amazing that people of every background (race, gender, religion, etc.) are coming together to help out the victims of this hurricane.
I honestly say all of this because I wish there was more that I could personally do. However, my resources are limited, so I figured I would share with everyone how they can all help out in little ways.
1. If you have extra clothes, food, toiletries and live near this area/have any way of getting these items to Houston; PLEASE DONATE.
2. A very EASY and Fashionable way to help during this time is….The wonderful Chip and Joanna Gaines have a new t-shirt up on the Magnolia Market (I’ve posted below) you can purchase this and all of the proceeds go to helping the victims of Harvey.

3. There are also numerous other websites that have offered this same option, purchasing a shirt and the proceeds will go to Harvey relief. So please go check those out.
4. Also, the last big thing, PRAY. During times like this, God usually to challenge our faith and for those who can’t physically contribute; there is no judgement. Please just pray, God sees and hears every little prayer.
I hope you guys enjoy this post. Being from Texas, this is a huge deal to me. I hope you can find it in your heart to contribute in ANY way. Please and thank you from all of Texas.
