5 Wardrobe Essentials

Do you get up in the morning, stare at the large mass of clothing shoved into your closet and still wonder why you can’t find anything to wear??

Well this my darlings is because you aren’t buying versatile pieces. I’m no fashion expert, and obviously it takes more than 5 pieces of clothing to create a wardrobe. However, these 5 wardrobe essentials are necessary for any fashionista to create a better variety of outfits on a smaller budget. So, unless you’re a Kardashian and can afford to buy a new piece of clothing every day, keep reading.

  1. First Rule, EVERY GIRL NEEDS A GREAT BUTTON DOWN Shirt.                                                  Button Down shirts are great must-have pieces for any wardrobe, they can be worn alone, layered, unbuttoned, tied around your waist, etc. Also, most button down shirts are sized larger, which means they’ll fit longer. WIN. WIN.

    2. Second must-have is a KILLER pair of skinny jeans. Okay girls (and guys) let me tell you, you must invest in a good pair of skinny jeans- preferably black. First off, black never goes out of style, skinny jeans are very versatile- you can wear them with sneakers, heels, boots, wedges. EVERYTHING. I personally have a pair of high-waisted black Levi Skinny Jeans and they are my favorite. adf5c6d517f6b00169f257fb1ff4571e                    3. The oldest, most well known rule of womanhood, THE LITTLE BLACK DRESS. This rule doesn’t need much explanation, girls, just find you a great LBD and SLAY girl.

    4. Whether brown, black, white, or maroon, etc.. the LEATHER JACKET is a subtle badass statement piece every girl (and guy) needs. They are great for any outfit and any body type.

    5. Last but not least, the Pointed-Toe Heels. Even if you hate wearing heels, there comes an occasion in every girl’s life when heels are very necessary- so why not make the most of it. I personally love these shoes and would say that they are an important staple piece for every fashionista’s wardrobe.
